While the prices could be worse on can's it helps to not have to buy one for EVERY gun you own lol - just one more advantage to minimizing the number of calibers i own.

oh btw almost done catching up w/ your blog - feel free to let me know what you think of the comments here or via e-mail 8DMortalis09https://www.blogger.com/profile/02203662424055986844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-66986928414743982892012-01-25T22:25:44.177-05:002012-01-25T22:25:44.177-05:00That is some pretty awesome stuff. I have yet to pull the trigger on one because the whole process is so god-awful expensive. At this stage, I'd want to get a can that can be used on multiple firearms instead of integrated. Though I will say one of the sweetest guns I ever shot was a .308 with an integrated suppressor.45erhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397455410329074837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-1651825695483541812012-01-25T15:05:59.549-05:002012-01-25T15:05:59.549-05:00this is the more likely direction i'll go howe...this is the more likely direction i'll go however http://www.tacticalinc.com/tac65-22lr-suppressor-p-38.htmlMortalis09https://www.blogger.com/profile/02203662424055986844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-67590963488229354302012-01-25T15:04:01.619-05:002012-01-25T15:04:01.619-05:00lol i hearya - i've been eyeballing the 22/45 ...lol i hearya - i've been eyeballing the 22/45 w/ integral silencer for a few years - main reason i haven't bought any other semi-auto .22 yet here are the ones i've been thinking about http://paladinarmory.com/22Pistols.htm

and

http://www.srtarms.com/mkii.htm

http://www.srtarms.com/buck.htm

http://www.srtarms.com/1022.htm

http://www.blackweaponsarmory.com/gemtech-oasis-suppressor-integrated-22-pistol.html

out of all of those however the spartan IV is my favorate (i've actually had the pleasure of shooting most of those - how i got hooked lol)Mortalis09https://www.blogger.com/profile/02203662424055986844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-19006792947576735532012-01-25T14:38:45.584-05:002012-01-25T14:38:45.584-05:00Totally agreed that a .22 is a great way to start....Totally agreed that a .22 is a great way to start. I will even start them off with a 10/22 rifle to up the fun factor before moving to handguns. I like the idea of using a .22 conversion in a standard semi auto so they can practice with a gun ghey might carry in a normal situation. Then again, I've been looking at some Ruger 22/45s and I always like to add new guns to the collection whenever possible.45erhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397455410329074837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-1802568894642808842012-01-25T14:00:06.650-05:002012-01-25T14:00:06.650-05:00if you take new folks shooting on a regular basis ...if you take new folks shooting on a regular basis might want to invest in something like this http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=626&category=Revolver&toggle=&breadcrumbseries= as well as a .22 conversion for your semi-auto so they can learn the fundamentals w/o being scared of the recoil - i've found that doing this also helps them pick what kind of firearm they are most comfortable with. But then again that is just personal opinion 8D - oh and just finished another blog so i'm heading off to yours now so expect to see an extra page view or two lolMortalis09https://www.blogger.com/profile/02203662424055986844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-24626059831801317002012-01-24T20:05:45.222-05:002012-01-24T20:05:45.222-05:00Great point. If at all possible, I try to find a variety for them to shoot so they can really get a feel for them. If you live in a larger town or have access to a place that rents, even better.45erhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05397455410329074837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-21364218674634115502012-01-24T13:36:07.117-05:002012-01-24T13:36:07.117-05:00Agreed and i think she does a good job of broachin...Agreed and i think she does a good job of broaching the topic.Mortalis09https://www.blogger.com/profile/02203662424055986844noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3589058118905796512.post-76194928005033363862012-01-24T07:29:39.024-05:002012-01-24T07:29:39.024-05:00Yes it is.... and the more people that I talk to w...Yes it is.... and the more people that I talk to who are buying their first gun, the more I realize that this is indeed the one piece of information that they just do not have.Gunmarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490827735724183701noreply@blogger.com
